1. What is a Merch Store?

• A merch store is an e-commerce portal that allows for the sale of merchandise such as t-shirts, hats, mugs and other types of customized apparel and promo items.

2. How will a Merch Store help me?

• It will make you money.
• If you think of all the pitfalls associated with ordering custom t-shirts for a group or organization such as ordering too many shirts, ordering the wrong sizes, taking and managing orders from a herd of cats, (I mean, various people.) Receiving the shirts and then, having to distribute them, storing leftover yet-to-be-picked up shirts. The merch store takes all of those concerns and makes them go POOF! We handle all of that for you.
• Did I mention it makes you money?

3. How does a Merch Store Work?

• First you select a design. (more on this later)
• Set the parameters for your store. (Is it an ongoing thing, ie. Employee uniforms, etc., or a limited time offer – family reunion t-shirts)
• We establish the cost of production and fulfillment to determine the profit that goes to you.
• You promote the store through your own contacts, social media, etc.
• We fulfill the orders, printing, organizing, shipping, etc.
• We send you your money.

4. What’s the cost of a Merch Store?

• A merch store costs you nothing. Zero, Zip Nada.

5. How are sales generated?

• Listen closely, this is the tricky part (not really). All you do is tell people where your merch store is, the url (web address).
• Most of our partners generate their sales through word of mouth, emails, Facebook, Twitter, etc. You share, get your friends to share and it just grows exponentially! The more you put it out there, the more you sell!

6. What can I sell?

• Our biggest sellers are t-Shirts, but you are by no means limited to that. We also do all types of apparel, polo shirts for companies, uniforms for teams, mugs for people who drink, patches, pins, ink pens, hats and caps, and on and on…

7. How much does the Merch Store merchandise sell for?

• The selling price depends on you and your fundraising goals. You decide if you want to make profit, and how much profit, add that to the manufacturing cost and voila’, you have set the price!

8. How do I get started with a Merch Store?

• Give us a call, email, text etc. and we’ll get started hashing out the details. Usually we can have a merch store up and running in a matter of days after the design is confirmed.

9. How long is a Merch Store up and running (how long can I sell merchandise)?

• That depends on you. Some of our partners have a set deadline, an event of family reunion, etc. that determines the end date. For those, we take the orders and after the deadline manufacture everything all at one time. Others may want an open-ended store that ships whenever an order comes in (often the same day). For these we print in advance, and ship asap, for as long as you want to sell.

10. How do I make money on a Merch Store? How do I get paid?

• Price – Cost to Make = your Profit. Drive people to the store, Miss Daisy, and you make money. You will be paid in whatever method you wish, cash, check, money order, transfer, Square, Stripe, etc.

11. When would I receive my money?

• For a store with a deadline, you get your money as soon as the store closes.

13. Why should I have a Merch Store vs buy items in bulk and selling?

• We are more than happy to do bulk orders for you! The saving grace of a merch store is eliminating the headaches that come with buying, storing, and distributing the merchandise. (Ever order shirts and run out of XL’s and have a whole box of Smalls left over)? We thought so…

14. Is there a minimum or maximum amount of merchandise that’s required by my Merch Store?

• Not Really, Definitely no maximum, and the only thing that affects the minimum is cost per item. The more that is made the cheaper the per-item price.

15. If there’s a minimum and I don’t sell that amount, what happens with the sold items from the store?

• If a minimum is set (at the agreed upon price) and not met, all funds are refunded.

16. How do I get people to purchase from my store?

17. Can I change the price of my products on my store?

• Send us a message, we’ll change it ASAP.

18. How many products can I have on my store?

• How many do you want? Let us know and we’ll make it happen, we haven’t hit a limit yet. Do keep in mind that sometimes less is more, if you are going to offer multiple products, the more different they are, the better your sales will be. For example, a hat and a shirt are better than two shirts, especially if there is not a lot of difference in the shirts.

19. Is there any cost to create a store?

• There is no cost to prepare a store under the KISS principle. If you know what you want, that’s simple. In extreme cases where we have to do A LOT of legwork, we might have to charge a fee. We have yet to do that.

20. How do I get my logo for my product(s) uploaded?

• You send us the logo, we upload it. (We need it anyway for the merchandise…)

21. If I don’t have a logo, can you assist with the creation (design a logo)?

• Yes we can! We have a very talented artist who can assist you. We do have to charge for a complicated design.

22. Is there a watermarking feature to protect my design?

• No.

23. Are there any legal/moral guidelines for what I’m allowed to upload?

• Whoa, that’s a tricky one. Basically, no. We try hard not to be offended, but if we are, we reserve the right to refuse a job.

24. Can I close my store at any time? Is there a penalty to close without the host making a percentage?

• You can close your store whenever you wish. As of now, we have never failed to make profit, if there is doubt, then maybe a timed store is the best way to go.

25. How are refunds processed via the Merch Store?

• Refunds are made the same way funds are received Credit cards goes back to the card, mailed checks are sent return mail.

26. If the buyer wants to return an item, how is this done?

• Contact us. ASAP! Our business is based on providing quality, if we have let you down, we will make it right. We do ask that careful choice is given to ordering the correct size, yet we will still make it right.

27. Are all sales final?

• Yes. No. Confused? So are we! Why would you want to return such outstanding work?

28. Are all orders shipped or can they be picked up?

• Arrangements can be made, give us a call.

29. How is shipping charged? Who pays for shipping?

• Shipping is calculated online at the time of the order and the cost is reflected in the final cost.

30. Can the Merch Store process International shipping?

• Yes! Why would we deprive the world of such wonderful stuff!

31. Why isn’t my order going through?

• Don’t know. Call us, we’ll make it work.
